✷ Always keep your calendar up to date to prevent cancellations and missed opportunities. Proper management can also attract more guests, ensuring your property is reserved as often as possible.
1 How to open / close calendar
To manage your calendar, go to “Calendar Settings”:
You can select the date you would like to open or close by dragging on the calendar as #1
You can select the exact date at the box #2
If you want to open the calendar, please click “Reservation available” If you want to close the calendar, please click “Reservation not possible” and then click “Save”
Tip: make sure to click "Save" every time you want to update the calendar
You can check the date that you close will be colored as a grey one, and for the available date will be the white one.
2 How to make a private memo on the calendar
You can use LiveAnywhere as master calendar by using the memo, you can put the memo up to
50 characters. This memo will not show up to the guest side.
Go to the “Private note”
Type the memo in the box
Click “Save”
The memo you make will show up as the grey text box as it show in the calendar.
The memo can be edited or deleted.
If the room is booked in others channel, please make sure to close the calendar before you make a memo.
3 How to set automatic extension sale period
Automatic extension means the calendar will be automatically extend after your listing’s contract is due.
Go to “Automatic extension of sales period”
Click “use” if you want to set as automatic extension
Select the period you want for automatic extension
“not used” means your listing’s sale period will be available only as you set the contract when create the listing.
4 How to set the check in / check out the same date
If your room is available to check in and check out on the same date. At the preparation period, you can set as "not needed" as below: ⚠️ Please make sure you set the check in and check out time properly for this case.
5 Shortcut to manage the calendar
You can easily manage your calendar by going to the host page.
Select the “Accommodation Management”
Select the listing that you would like to update the calendar
Click “Calendar Setting”
6 Update your calendar once a week
Keeping your calendar always up to date is important as the price to prevent cancellation and missed opportunities.
You can arrange your time to update all of your listing’s calendar at least once a week to prevent canceling the booking due to already booked.
