✷ To manage your booking efficiently, follow these steps.
1 How to check booking requests
Note: When the guest makes a booking request, their inquiry will only be valid if there is a response within 12 hours. If there is no response, the booking will be cancelled automatically.
Where can I find booking requests?
Option 1: Email
You can quickly check booking details by clicking at the blue button, which means "go to Host website".
The booking request will be sent to the host email you registered with LiveAnywhere. Please make sure your email notifications are turned on.
Option 2: Host website
Go to the host website and select “Reservation Management”
You will see a list of your reservations
What to check before accepting booking requests
These are necessary details that need to be checked before accepting bookings:
Check the validation time: to prevent the booking from being automatically cancelled, you need to check the validation time of the booking request
Check accommodation details: for example, check the building, room type, room number (If you include specific room details, like the room number, in the accommodation name or description, please make sure the room available matches what the guest inquired)
Check the date and period of stays
Check the number of guests
Check if the pet is not allowed
Check the price details: for example, rent fee, utilities fee, and deposit (deposit will be held with LiveAnywhere) → more about Deposit Policy
2 How to accept the booking
When done checking all the necessary details of the booking request, you can easily accept the booking by going to the bottom of the page, where you will see the blue button: “Accept reservation"
If there are more than one booking requests for the same room during the same period from the same or different guest:
If the room is available you can accept all the booking requests from the guest.
If there is a guest who confirmed the booking first, the other booking will be automatically cancelled due to the overlapped bookings.
3 How to check the status of the booking
To check the status of the booking you can easily check the top of the page:
Reservation request: Reservation has been made from guest and waiting for response to “Accept or Decline” booking. There are 12 hours to respond to this request, if you don't respond for over 12 hours the booking request will be automatically cancelled due to “host delay”
Reservation in progress: Once you accepted guest’s booking request the status of the booking will change to ”waiting for confirmation” or “Reservation in progress” and the guest has 12 hours more to confirm the booking. (More than 90% of confirmed reservations are responded to within 3 hours.)
Reservation confirmed: Guest already confirmed the booking, you can check the next step with “What to do with confirmed booking”
Reservation cancelled: Guest cancelled the reservation; you can check the reason of the cancellation as follows
Reservation cancelled after confirmation: Guest cancelled the booking after they made a payment or confirmation; you can check the penalty for these cases with our cancellation policy.
4 What to do with confirmed booking
Please note that the rent fee will be transferred within the check in date, please check with your given bank account for pay-out transaction with LiveAnywhere. → more about How to get paid
Send the check in / out guideline to the guest
Send the check in/out guideline, room number → more about Check in instruction
send through the DM → more about How to use DM (Guest communication)
if you have Kakao talk, you can add to guest’s KakaoTalk from the booking detail.
Update the calendar
Close the calendar in other channels to prevent overbooking case. → more about Managing your calendar
If you are the company host. Please note the confirmed booking will be automatically closed on room’s calendar will and cannot book with the same period anymore. If you still have more room with the same type available you can create another listing to make more room for the guest to make a booking → more about How to create the listing
