Decline bookings

You can decline the booking request if the room is not available to book.


1 Decline the booking request


Decline the booking before it expires. At the bottom of the page select “Reservation Declined



2 Select the reason of decline


Once your decline the booking request, you need to let the guest know your reasons. Select the reason of decline booking the basic reasons are provided:



  • Already booked: means the room is not available to book due to there is already booked from another channel. If you select this reason you will be able to suggest for the next available date of this room and update your calendar again.

  • The accommodation facilities are under renovation

  • Requested number of people is not suitable: means the number of people is over your room maximum capacity as you set in the console.

  • These pets are not permitted

  • Etc: means it is other reason from the basic one that provided above, when you click this option the text box will show up and you can type other reasons of your declined such as Price change, the room has been rented out for long term in this box before you decline the booking



Lastly, select “Refuse



3 Update information


Tip: Once you decline the booking with the reason of some information has not been updated, we suggest you to update that information as son as possible. To prevent guest make a new request again right away after decline, to prevent decline booking with the same reason again.


  • Update information such as price, calendar, others information.

  • Please make sure that if the guest request the booking again, you will be able to accept the booking without any mistakes.
